Washing
Wash clothing only when necessary, and choose gentle cycles. In most cases, a temperature of 30-40°C is sufficient. Use detergents suitable for the fabric and follow the recommended amounts to preserve its color and texture.
To help clothing last longer: avoid the highest spin speeds,do not overload the washing machine,
always follow the care label for the specific garment.
Gentle washing helps preserve what makes clothing valuable.
Drying
Air drying is the best choice.
It helps preserve the garment’s shape, reduces the risk of shrinkage, and protects the fabric from unnecessary wear.
If you use a tumble dryer, always check whether the fabric is suitable for it and choose a gentle cycle.
Silk, linen, and wool should only be air-dried.
Ironing
Clothing hung properly often needs no ironing at all.
If needed, iron at a medium temperature with a little steam to protect the fibers.
Storage
Store clothing clean, folded or on a hanger, in a dry, clean place.
If storing clothing for a longer period—between seasons or to pass it on to siblings and future generations—place it in a fabric bag or box and keep it in a dry, well-ventilated place, protected from moisture and unwanted odors.
